Dr Chris Roth
MBBS
Dr Chris is a Specialist General Practitioner who attained fellowship to the RACGP in 2020. Chris is a graduate of Sydney Medical School and has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program. He completed his intern and resident years at St George and Sutherland Hospitals. Prior to studying medicine Chris practiced as a physiotherapist in the local area.
Chris enjoys the broad scope of general practice and has interests in preventative medicine and paediatric medicine.
Outside of medicine Chris enjoys leading an active lifestyle, surfing, snowboarding and mountain biking.

Dr Rula Ali
BHB, MBChB, FRACGP, GAICD, Adv Cert Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Surgery.
Rula completed her medical degree at Auckland University with distinction. She spent the final time of her degree in Oxford where she did general surgery and research. On her return, Rula worked in emergency medicine and was part of the surgical trauma team in a leading centre in Auckland. As part of her surgical training, Rula moved to Australia.
Rula completed additional qualifications in skin cancer detection. Combining her surgical expertise, Rula provides comprehensive skin checks and performs surgical procedures to remove suspicious skin lesions.
Rula is currently a senior lecturer in the University of New South Wales, School of Clinical Medicine. She was the Director of the Practice Experience Program for NSW&ACT, and the National Clinical Lead for Evaluation and Quality Assurance. Rula is the deputy chair of the Shire GP, and sits on the Clinical Council of the local Primary Health Network.

Dr Melissa Phillis
BMed, DCH, FRACGP
Dr Melissa is a Specialist GP with a passion for women’s health and holistic person-centred care. She consults on a broad range of women’s health concerns, including menstrual disorders, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PCOS/PMOS), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and perimenopause and menopause. She has lived experience and a special interest in the management of endometriosis.
Dr Melissa prescribes lifestyle and plant medicines alongside conventional therapies to optimise treatment outcomes for her patients. She believes in taking the time to listen, working collaboratively with patients, and helping them feel informed and supported in their healthcare decisions.
Dr Melissa is currently undertaking further specialty training in Lifestyle Medicine with the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM).
Outside of work, Dr Melissa enjoys staying active, spending time in nature, and exploring the outdoors with her Vizsla puppy, Hugo.

Dr Nina Medynski
BSc (med), MBBS (UNSW), FRACGP, Dip Child Health (USyd)
Nina received her medical degree from the university of NSW in 2002. Thereafter, Nina completed her internship and residency at Westmead Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Whilst there, Nina completed a diploma of Child Health. Nina became a fellow of the College of GP’s in 2008.
Nina has over twenty years experience working as a GP, and more than ten years working in the Sutherland Shire. Nina enjoys the variety and breadth of General Practice and is happy to see patients of all ages and genders. Nina has extensive experience with geriatrics, women’s health and child health.
When not practising medicine, Nina enjoys spending time with family and friends, artistic pursuits, the outdoors and learning new skills.

Dr Phil Dwyer
MBBS
Phil Dwyer graduated from the University of New South Wales and worked at Prince Henry, Prince of Wales & Sutherland Hospital prior to commencing at Woolooware Family Practice in 1980.
He is a Specialist GP, vocationally registered, with a broad interest in medicine, assisting in surgery at Kareena Hospital. As a lover of sport he has interests in Sports Medicine & skin cancers, completing a Fellowship with Integrated Skin Cancer in 2016.
He has been honorary medical officer at Southern Districts Rugby and Elouera Surf Club, and continues to do water safety for Elouera nippers in summer.
Phil is involved in continuing medical education as a member of the education committee of the local primary healthcare network and also the skin cancer programme for GP’s at Integrated Skin Cancer.
Phil enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching footy, surfing and keeping active.

Dr Martina Ghobrial
MD, BmedSt, GDCH
Dr Martina graduated from Bond University in 2021 and is currently undertaking training as a GP registrar. She has a keen interest in paediatrics and preventative health and has completed a Diploma of Child Health.
Dr Martina is passionate about delivering patient-centered care and enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients.

Dr Marianne Cosman
MD, BMedSt
Dr Marianne is a dedicated and approachable GP who enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and supporting families through all stages of life. She earned her Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Medical Studies from Bond University in 2022, followed by her internship and residency in South Eastern Sydney hospitals, where she gained valuable experience across a wide range of clinical areas, particularly in emergency medicine and obstetrics and gynaecology.
Dr Marianne is passionate about providing personalised care and helping her patients feel heard and supported. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, travelling, and exploring new foods and cultures. She's always happy to swap travel tips or restaurant recommendations with her patients.

Dr James Muggleton
Consultant Geriatrician
Originally from the UK, Dr James Muggleton completed his medical degree at Newcastle University before moving to Australia in 2016. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians after completing his specialist training in Geriatrics at Prince of Wales, St George and Sutherland Hospitals.
Dr Muggleton has wide-ranging experience caring for older adults in both hospital and community settings. Having made the Sutherland Shire his home, Dr Muggleton is committed to supporting the health, independence, and well-being of older adults in the local community.
Areas of care provided by Dr Muggleton include:
- Comprehensive assessment of medical, functional, and social needs in older adults
- Diagnosis and management of memory concerns, cognitive impairment, and dementia
- Support for behavioural and psychological symptoms associated with dementia
- Chronic disease management in older adults
- Reviewing medications to reduce risks and optimise treatment
- Assessment of risk factors for falls, with tailored strategies to support safety and independence
- Bone health assessment and fracture prevention
- Assessment and optimisation of older adults prior to surgery
- Guidance with advance care planning and future health decision-making

Bianca Nagle
Clinical Psychologist Registrar
BPsych(Hons), MClinPsych
Bianca Nagle is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar who is passionate about providing compassionate, authentic, and evidence-based care to individuals aged 14 and above. She has experience across private practice, public mental health, and inpatient settings, working with a wide range of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, ADHD, chronic pain, and disordered eating.
Bianca draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals. She is committed to creating a warm, grounded therapeutic space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
Outside of work, Bianca enjoys being physically active, spending time with family and friends, baking, and attending live music events.
