Dr Phil Dwyer
Phil Dwyer graduated from the University of New South Wales and worked at Prince Henry, Prince of Wales & Sutherland Hospital prior to commencing at Woolooware Family Practice in 1980.
He is a Specialist GP, vocationally registered, with a broad interest in medicine, assisting in surgery at Kareena Hospital. As a lover of sport he has interests in Sports Medicine & skin cancers, completing a Fellowship with Integrated Skin Cancer in 2016.
He has been honorary medical officer at Southern Districts Rugby and Elouera Surf Club, and continues to do water safety for Elouera nippers in summer.
Phil is involved in continuing medical education as a member of the education committee of the local primary healthcare network and also the skin cancer programme for GP’s at Integrated Skin Cancer.
Phil enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching footy, surfing and keeping active.
Dr Melanie Mapleson
Dr Mapleson joined the practice in 2017 and achieved fellowship of the RACGP in 2019. She grew up in the local area.
Prior to completing her medical degree in 2014, she completed a Bachelor of Applied Exercise & Sport Science at Sydney University and also has a Diploma of Child Health from Sydney University.
Dr Mel is a provider of shared antenatal care with the Sutherland and St George hospitals. She has a special interest in children’s medicine and vocal health. In her free time Dr Mel proudly represents Australia at an international level in women’s a cappella singing.
She speaks fluent Italian and is happily vegetarian.

Dr Chris Roth
Dr Chris is a Specialist General Practitioner who attained fellowship to the RACGP in 2020. Chris is a graduate of Sydney Medical School and has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program. He completed his intern and resident years at St George and Sutherland Hospitals. Prior to studying medicine Chris practiced as a physiotherapist in the local area.
Chris enjoys the broad scope of general practice and has interests in preventative medicine and paediatric medicine.
Outside of medicine Chris enjoys leading an active lifestyle, surfing, snowboarding and mountain biking.

Dr Mairaed Crawford
Dr Mairaed Crawford is a GP Registrar in her final term of FRACGP training. Dr Mairaed has enjoyed an array of experiences in medicine prior to settling on General Practice Training, including a stint in Alice Springs where she completed her Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Dr Mairaed enjoys the variety of work involved in General Practice with a special interest in Mental Health and Women’s Health.
Outside of life as a doctor, Dr Mairaed is a keen triathlete.
You will find her riding and running in The Royal National Park and swimming around Shark Island.

Chantelle is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Nutritionist and a lover of food. Chantelle believes that health and wellness can be improved by what we eat and promotes nourishing our bodies with wholesome foods for optimal wellbeing.
Chantelle is experienced in the areas of weight management, nutrition for the elderly, chronic diseases, such as diabetes and heart disease, food allergies, food intolerances, and eating for general health and wellbeing.
